9 yearsSomeone called me claiming to be from npower and seemed to have all the info about my current npower deals - like usage stats, prices, and when they were ending. They tried to get me to renew on supposedly better deals with no standing charge. Then they began going through the terms and conditions. When they asked for my bank details and sort code, I told them they already had it and that I wasn’t interested in signing up. I rang npower right away and they told me they hadn’t contacted me at all and that they don’t offer contracts without a standing charge.
