Alright then, we admit that we’ve got a financial obligation to them. Fair's fair. Just to clarify, I don't have any ties with Capital One; my manager might have in the past, but that’s irrelevant as these calls are clearly meant for personal matters. It’s rather suspicious, as there’s never anyone on the line when you pick up. The moment you try calling back the other number, it feels like a fishing expedition, with callers eager to get hold of your account information. Legitimate financial institutions or banks would never initiate contact in such an intrusive manner asking for personal details. It’s high time we treat these numbers with the utmost caution, as I suspect they’re part of some elaborate scam!

Oh, by the way, the reason your call dropped as soon as you picked up is because they use automated calling systems, and sadly, there aren't sufficient agents available to speak with you right away. Quite frustrating, if I’m honest! There’s a way to sign up with a service that can block those pesky nuisance calls, but I can’t quite recall the name of it at the moment.
