They sent a rather alarming notification to my father's laptop. I’m not entirely certain whether it was a rogue pop-up or something of that nature... but it came with a blaring alert, urging him to call without delay. As he's quite advanced in years, he took the bait and ended up on the phone with them for nearly an hour. Luckily, it appears nothing was siphoned off from his bank account, mainly because he's not the quickest on the uptake and likely wouldn’t have been able to comply with their demands in a timely manner. I suspect they eventually lost patience and hung up. I’m rather tempted to ring them back and deliberately squander their time...8 yearsBeware of a scam regarding APPLE CARE.
