We’re with Orange for both our broadband and mobile services, and I can assure you that our accounts are all squared away, including our information. When I spoke to Orange, they had no record whatsoever of this number contacting us. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this one; it feels like a right scam.

This number keeps ringing us and then disconnecting. We do have an account with Orange and there’s a balance due, but we settled that at the Orange store to be on the safe side. Seems rather dubious, if you ask me.

I phoned this number back and was greeted with a message regarding "account simulation". It turns out this was linked to Orange. They were trying to reach out concerning an unpaid bill from October 2007 to January 2008. However, we switched to a different provider in October 2007, after receiving compensation from Orange for their failure to update my connection in November 2006. As soon as they realised their oversight in August 2007, they attempted to tie me into a new contract starting then. I made it quite clear what they could do with that proposal! In the end, I was released from my contract, received my refund, and chose to part ways with them for good.

This particular number seems to ring our home phone every single evening without fail. I refuse to answer it, but it’s genuinely quite vexing! I recently started using Orange broadband, so I’m left wondering if this call is actually from them, or whether they’ve passed my details to a third party. Regardless, I’m certainly not inclined to pick up the receiver! If they wish to get in touch, they can do so via email or through a letter. This afternoon, we had an eerily similar encounter-utter silence on the line. Oddly, just last month, we received a legitimate call from Orange Broadband regarding our billing, which appeared from an 0800 number. They actually credited our account with £20 as a goodwill gesture for a mix-up during an upgrade process. Still, I wouldn't advise anyone to return the call or disclose any personal information. Better to be safe than sorry!

It's regarding Orange Broadband. We decided to terminate our broadband service back in January, as our experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare! They stopped our direct debit without a word, and it wasn't until today-eleven weeks later-that they reached out, claiming there was some kind of problem with our account. We firmly told them the account was closed, but she wouldn’t listen at all, so we hung up! Honestly, they're a right pain-more like Bitter Orange, if you ask me.
