I couldn't answer the phone when it rang, so I called back only to hear a message about a missed call from Santander. I tried ringing them again but the call just dropped. Around 10.49 this number popped up on my phone unexpectedly. The bloke claimed he was ringing from Santander but when I asked why, he just said "to talk about changes". Quick update on my previous post - the number actually belongs to Santander, though it seems they’re using it in a pretty dodgy way. They appear to be verifying that calls coming into Santander are legit, but when we dealt with it, there was zero proper communication. My partner was just told it was a message from “the bank” for me, but when she said she’d pass me over, the person on the other end just dropped the call.
