I got a call from a bloke claiming to be with BT saying my contract was due for renewal. Funny thing is, I know it’s still got a few months left. He wanted me to say my full name to prove who I was, but I wasn’t having any of it. Told him if it’s legit, just send me an email since they should have it on record. I get loads of dodgy calls on my landline, so I’m wary. No email has come through yet.

Every time I answer, they just cut off. When I let it ring instead, it only rings twice before they don’t call again. They've stopped after a couple of tries each time.

They just drop the call as soon as you pick up.
