I had a chap ring me claiming to be from BT, insisting that my contract was approaching its renewal date. However, that's a bit off, as I've still got a few months left. He then requested that I verify my identity by stating my full name, which I promptly declined to do. I told him that if this were truly legitimate, they should fire off an email to me using the address they already have on record; after all, I frequently get bombarded with scam calls on my landline. As of now, I've not seen a single email land in my inbox.
