I received a call which they said was from the fraud department of Natwest / RBS. They wanted me to provide details about my password characters. I outright refused to share any of that information and instead reached out to Bankline myself. They informed me that the phone number didn’t belong to them and that their policy doesn’t involve asking for password characters. Additionally, they confirmed that the fraud team hadn’t attempted to make contact with me at all. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I can assure you that this number has no connection to the RBS Fraudline, despite its claims. It seems quite dodgy to me, especially since it just rang through to an individual’s voicemail and wasn’t acknowledged by the Fraud Team. - caller: 08003689996
