Someone said they were from the Natwest fraud dept and asked me for some characters from my password. I didn’t share anything and rang Bankline straight away. They told me the number wasn’t theirs at all, they wouldn’t ask for password bits, and the fraud team wasn’t trying to reach me. Definitely a scam.

Don’t trust this number claiming to be RBS Fraudline. When I called back, it just went to a private voicemail and the actual Fraud Team said they didn’t know anything about it. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me. - caller: 08003689996

So this number called me out of the blue, said they were from the bank's fraud department. They were really helpful, I appreciated the assist - definitely felt legit. Cheers to the fraud team!
