We received a call from this number at 2:21 PM on Tuesday, the 15th of September. As we were at work, we didn’t manage to pick up. Curiosity got the better of us, and we decided to look it up, which led us to this site. Just trying to find out who might have been on the other end!

This number has been pestering our home phone time and again. The caller clearly isn’t from the UK, though they might be attempting to mimic a local accent! They claimed to be affiliated with Virgin Media. As soon as we asked them to stop calling, they promised to erase our number from their list. Yet, it's been a relentless stream of calls from the same number each day. It’s clearly a scam; never, under any circumstances, share your personal details over the phone!

Today, on the 19th of February, I received a call from these unfamiliar folks, and they had previously rung on the 11th as well as countless other occasions. We’re absolutely baffled as to their identity; it seems highly suspicious. Interestingly, my sibling, who is on a different network, has also been getting calls from a number that looks remarkably similar. It’s all rather peculiar, isn't it?

This number's turning into a right nuisance for us. I wouldn't be surprised if it’s yet another dodgy telemarketer. Honestly, when these types discover this site, they need to pull their socks up and find a proper job instead of pestering folks. What a bunch of freeloaders!

Today, the 2nd of December, 2008, at approximately 5:46 PM, my phone rang with an incoming call from this number. We picked it up, but to our surprise, there was silence on the other end. Quite odd, really!

We seem to receive calls from them daily around half past six, yet there's never anyone on the other end. It's just a case of them hanging up without saying a word!

Received a call from this number around 8:53 PM, only to be greeted by some chap with a foreign accent trying to peddle a T-Mobile phone and contract. I told him quite firmly to “bugger off” ;-)

Absolutely the same situation on our end. We're quite convinced that these individuals are raking in profits.

I received a call from this number on my mobile, so I decided to ring them back using our landline. After a couple of attempts, someone finally picked up but then promptly hung up. Since then, they've bombarded my mobile with four calls. It’s rather odd-no clue what they want!

This number has called me several times, and every time I answer, the caller promptly disconnects. I can't help but wonder what sort of scam might be at play here.

I received a call from these folks. When I answered, there was silence on the other end. Someone mumbled a quick "hello" and then promptly hung up. I'm left curious about who they might be.

We've received multiple calls from this number on our home phone. The chap on the other end clearly doesn't sound British, though he might just be putting on a false accent! He claimed to work for Virgin Media. However, the moment we asked him to stop calling, he assured us he'd remove our number from his records. Yet, without fail, our phone rings every day with that same number. It's obviously a scam; just a friendly reminder to never share any of your personal details over the phone!

Blimey, they've just tracked down my number! I'm getting calls from this lot nearly every other day, sometimes even more often, and it's really winding me up! I only answered the first time, but there was absolutely nothing on the line. So frustrating!

For the past week or so, our home phone has been inundated with calls from this number, ringing every other day. Strangely enough, there's never anyone on the line - just a quick hang-up. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we might put an end to this nuisance? We've had our share of bothersome calls from a company called Global Marketing Services, who keep asking about our partner's stocks and shares report (as if we're remotely interested in that, given today's market!). So, I'm starting to suspect this might be linked. Any advice?

Absolutely the same here! This number has been ringing us for several days now. We generally tend to steer clear of answering calls from numbers we don't recognise; it's usually wiser to just let them go unanswered.

I just received a call from them. After us saying hello three times, a chap with quite a thick accent fumbled his way through asking for a Miss Lorraine Cox. I had to let them know they’d dialled the wrong number since that’s definitely not us. I hung up shortly after. I really hope we’re not charged for that!

This number has been calling me over and over again. Each time I pick up, I can hear someone greet me with a 'hi' a few times, and then they just hang up. I haven’t a clue who it belongs to.

We completely understand your situation. We’ve also been getting calls from this number, and it seems like if it were something significant, they’d leave a message. We're really keen to find out who’s behind these calls and where they got our information from in the first place. It’s a bit of a mystery!

I opted to give them a bell again. Turns out it’s Three, the mobile provider.

I keep receiving calls from this number repeatedly. Each time I answer, there's someone on the other end who greets me a couple of times before abruptly hanging up. It's all rather puzzling since we have no idea which company is behind it.

A caller claimed they were from "3". We probed them thoroughly, and they firmly stated they were associated with Hutchison 3G. It’s quite curious, though, how they’re also trying to pitch T-Mobile!
