We didn’t even bother picking up the phone, as we’re quite used to receiving calls from these random numbers. I’m with the Three network, and I wouldn’t be surprised if these folks are selling my number to businesses. It’s become a right nuisance!

It appears that this number is only active during regular working hours. We tried calling outside of these times and were greeted with a recorded message stating we had connected with the "Direct Upgrades Team." However, it didn't clarify who actually makes up this team. It’s worth noting that it has come to our attention that mobile contract resellers tend to reach out to users as their contracts are nearing expiry. As it stands, we're still quite in the dark about who we actually ended up contacting.

This evening we received a missed call from this number, and I thought I'd look it up as I’m quite tired of these pesky individuals trying to peddle rubbish and waste my valuable time when I'm busy at work. Is there any possibility of blocking such calls?

I've finally had enough and stopped replying after they were so pushy and downright disrespectful, claiming to be from Three. It's rather annoying, especially since I'm actually on the Three network myself.

We've recently received one of these ourselves. Over the last few days, I've had quite a few of them. Usually, we end up missing the calls, and there's never any voicemail left. However, in the last two instances, I’ve been quick to answer, only to find silence on the line. Perhaps I’m just responding too swiftly for the automated dialler on the other side. I really wish we could find a way to prevent these calls from coming through!

This number has been incessantly calling us, ringing around twenty times over the past fortnight - and I’m not even kidding! They’ve never left a single message, which is rather puzzling. To be fair, we are aware that our Three contract is concluding soon, so perhaps they’re trying to get in touch regarding that. Still, it’s baffling to think it could warrant this many calls without a word of explanation! It's definitely not about any personal details on our end, especially since the details should already be in their system. Whatever the issue is, it’s become quite vexing, and I reckon they ought to realise that!

I’ve just had a look over at a Three forum, as I’ve been bombarded with calls myself lately. One chap mentioned: “Listen up, folks! This month at work, I've heard a fair bit about this and can confirm it’s absolutely NOT any direct sales from Three. Any calls you get should show up on your Three phone as Three customer service, with a +44 number that finishes in 333.” So, don’t fall for it, they’re aware of it too, and I reckon I won’t be answering those calls anymore!

Why on earth am I not answering those calls? Let me explain! Our contract is up for renewal, and I've been getting calls from 08003584844, among others. But honestly, why should I even pick up when they just hang up? I could be making these companies foot the bill instead! Every time I do answer, it's a win for me as they get charged for the connection. A little sense of satisfaction, don’t you think?

I recently received a call from this number, where the caller claimed to be conducting a survey for Three customer services. They were eager to know if we were feeling 'pleased with our service' or 'not quite satisfied'. When I mentioned that the question felt a bit too vague and I would prefer to keep my thoughts to myself, the chap on the other end became quite persistent. He then asked when would be a more convenient time to ring back, but I made it clear that I wasn’t keen on receiving more calls. To my surprise, he retorted, “What’s your issue?” and that was the moment I decided to hang up. I have no idea who these folks are, but I find their approach rather overbearing.

It appears this was probably Three mobile. We received a complaint and shortly after announcing that we intended to cancel our contract, we got a call from them.

When we asked if we could check out the products he was advertising online, he insisted he couldn't hold the line as this was some sort of exclusive service. Rather suspicious, so we just terminated the call in the middle of our conversation. Quite a shifty number, if you ask me!

Hello there! I recently received a call from this number and couldn’t be bothered to answer. Honestly, I never pick up calls from unknown numbers! They just seem to be wanting to sell you something, claiming they’re associated with Three, knowing that might catch your attention. It’s all just nonsense, really. Just a quick reminder: avoid sharing any personal information with them. Once you do, you can expect relentless calls - sometimes four or five a day - trying to convince you to give in to their sales pitch!
