Recently, I got a Three data SIM, and judging by what others have said, I’m pretty sure it’s them! Absolute pain in the neck. Got a call from 3 Mobile, some marketing thing about being “specially chosen” for a new contract phone deal. I cut them off pretty quickly and said, “Since this call’s being recorded, just letting you know I haven’t actually been specially picked for a free phone - sounds like you’re just running out of targets this month. Cheers, goodbye.” Just so you know, I’m already a 3 Mobile customer, but if they keep pestering me despite my request, I’ll be porting my number elsewhere no doubt.

Someone rang me, saying they were from the mobile network 3, trying to sell me a package. I quickly realised something was off since the account isn't even registered in my name! Honestly, be really careful and never share your info with callers like this - it's definitely a scam!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with 3 and started asking if I was aware of the 'feel at home' service that lets you use calls and texts overseas without using your allowance. I told them I’d already used this in Indonesia earlier this year, but he insisted it wasn’t available there so that couldn’t be true. Then he went on to say my account had been uniquely picked to get a free new phone. Pretty sure this wasn’t a genuine 3 call.
