I can totally relate to that!

I recently received a rather dodgy-looking letter marked with a '3' at the top, although it seemed to be a photocopy. It stated that I'd arranged a direct debit, but to my surprise, they spelled my name incorrectly. I'm not sure what their game is or how they could possibly swindle me, but I reckon I'll just brush it off for now.

I find myself in a similar predicament as the previous commenter. Just the other day, I got a rather convincing letter from 3. Even the way the envelope looks appears to be quite authentic. The letter claims that a direct debit has been established in my name, yet the details listed are completely incorrect. To make matters worse, the section about the direct debit guarantee is all fuzzy - it resembles an image rather than clear text. The contact number provided is 0800 338 1001, but if you visit the official 3 website, you'll notice their customer service number is actually 0333 338 1001. It's astonishing how expertly crafted this scam appears; it nearly tricked me into believing it was real!

I got a rather peculiar letter the other day, it was on some official-looking headed paper but the bank details inside were completely foreign to me. I decided to look up the freephone number listed, and stumbled across this post, discovering that others have had a similar experience. The irony is, I don't even own a 3 mobile or any of their products at all!

I came across a number that doesn’t appear to exist, which was listed on what seems to be a dodgy letter supposedly from Hutchison 3G UK. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
