Some bloke rang me claiming it was time to renew my BT contract - which it definitely wasn’t. Then he started on about how I could save money by renewing now (total scam). When he asked for my security info, I just called him out as a con and put the phone down.

So, I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying my contract was about to expire. She mentioned I could get a better deal if I sorted it out then and there. Her Northern English accent sounded quite legit, but I wasn't convinced and just ignored it.
