Recently, we received a rather strange call from this number. After a brief pause, a voice came through saying, "You’re (my name)." Naturally, we replied, "Yes, who might this be?" but the response we got was quite muddled and included what seemed to be "HSBC" before another uncomfortable silence fell. In the end, we decided it was best to hang up.

This number has started ringing us recently, and the person on the other end sounded rather robotic. They claimed to be from HSBC and insisted on obtaining our date of birth. We decided not to engage with them as we felt it was a bit dodgy! They've since attempted to reach us on both our home and mobile phones again!

We recently received a call from this number. Even though we hold an account with HSBC, we’ve never shared this specific number with them. I tried calling back, but ended up with an irritating automated voice telling me there's nothing more to do. For heaven’s sake, could they not ring so early in the morning? It's quite frustrating!

I just received a phone call where they mentioned my name and asked about when we could chat again. Then, rather abruptly, they apologised and said they would ring me back later. Quite peculiar, really!

We’ve been banking with HSBC and recently gave them our landline number. It’s possible this call is from them. We just received a call from this number.

I'm experiencing the same issues myself. I recommend giving your bank a call to verify everything. Try reaching out to any of the numbers you find and confirm with them directly. HSBC advised me to disregard those calls, suggesting it might be a scam outfit.

Keeps calling me quite often, even as late as 9 in the evening and usually on a Saturday afternoon as well. I've no clue who this is, and I won't be responding to any calls from 0800 numbers or similar at odd hours. I've added them to my block list! If it’s of any significance, I’d prefer you send me a letter instead!

I received a call from this number three times today - the first one was quite early, followed by another two later in the morning. It makes me wonder if it might be HSBC bank. Generally, we receive loads of calls from them on a regular basis, but oddly enough, I haven't had any calls from them today. Quite the mystery!

These folks keep calling incessantly throughout the day and are utterly infuriating. We suspect it’s HSBC, quite possibly the most dreadful bank on the planet. Then there’s Halifax to add to the annoyance, argh!

Who on earth could this be? I've been getting calls from this number about fifteen times a day, but there's never anyone on the other end. They seem to ring at the crack of dawn too! Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

Blimey, I've got no affiliation with HSBC, yet this number has been ringing both my landline and mobile incessantly over the last three days. Is there anyone out there who knows who this might be? I tend to screen my calls, so I’ve been ignoring any unfamiliar numbers that come through.

This number keeps calling us incessantly. It screams scam, to be frank. Best to steer clear of it as if it were the plague. I’m planning to inform HSBC about them since they ought to be made aware of this situation.

Does anyone have a clue about this number? It’s been ringing in the early afternoons for the past three weeks without leaving a single message. Quite odd, if you ask me!

It seems we’re inundated with calls from this number daily-yes, even on weekends (how maddening!). We're talking about a minimum of ten calls each day! I'm fairly certain it's from HSBC since I managed to ring them back and heard the same recorded message, confirming they’ve tried to get through to us, and we’re clearly not interested in engaging. Honestly, I wish these nuisances would just disappear and leave us in peace. Come on, HSBC, take the hint! After ignoring these incessant calls for a month, I have no intention of responding now! There really ought to be a law against this sort of relentless harassment, don’t you think?

Blimey, this same number has tried to get in touch with me three times today! I'm quite relieved it's nothing of significance, to be honest!

We wrapped up work a bit earlier today and have noticed five calls from this number already. We tend to ignore calls during the day since anyone we know would reach us on our mobiles. I stumbled across a discussion on one of those forums mentioning that sometimes a computer dials several numbers simultaneously, and once one is answered, the rest just disconnect. It seems your number gets tossed back into the mix for another round later on.

I just received a call from HSBC at half past nine this evening. A rather peculiar recorded message came on, stating that it was indeed them reaching out and that there was nothing more expected of us. Quite strange, isn't it?

These individuals keep ringing us a minimum of three times daily, at all sorts of hours. The first call comes in as early as 6:15 in the morning and the last one as late as 11:45 at night. I’ve chosen not to answer, nor will I be returning the call. However, the constant interruptions are quite bothersome, especially since my work as a vocal coach is frequently disrupted with this number ringing four times in one hour! It’s honestly becoming quite distressing. Is there any recourse available? O2 won’t block the number for me, and as I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, we shouldn’t be receiving any marketing calls at all.

I recently received a call from this number, and it rang for barely a second! It’s become a bit of a nuisance, as they’ve been ringing us repeatedly. However, when I tried to return the call, I was met with a message saying no further action was required. Quite baffling, really!

I receive a minimum of four calls daily from this number, and the moment you return the call, an automated voice informs you that it’s HSBS trying to reach you. There seems to be no way to put an end to these incessant interruptions. It's incredibly frustrating, and you get charged for calling them back as well-what a right pain!

This number keeps ringing for just a few seconds and then hangs up before we can pick up! On the rare occasions we do answer, it disconnects immediately. When we try to call back, it emits this bizarre noise! It's happening five or six times daily, and it's absolutely driving us up the wall!

Just received a call from this number. While we're customers of HSBC, we can’t remember sharing our mobile number with them. It’s quite irritating as they ring us at all hours, yet refuse to explain the purpose of their call. They insist on getting sensitive information from us before they’re willing to have a proper conversation. Absolutely not going to happen!
