Reports on phone number 0800326281
10 yearsI received a rather dubious call from a chap with an Indian accent who claimed to represent a service for blocking unwanted calls. When I inquired about his identity, he introduced himself as Mike and mentioned his affiliation with a company named TPS. He then insisted on verifying my postcode and name. I declined, explaining my hesitance, to which he insisted it was a complimentary service, requiring only a confirmation of my name and address. He even tried to push me into providing the details of the previous resident. I firmly stated that I wouldn’t be divulging any information, especially considering I had serious doubts about the legitimacy of his operation and noticed inaccuracies in his details. When I pressed him on how he obtained my number, he abruptly hung up. To add insult to injury, he had the audacity to call me back just a few minutes later, but I wisely chose not to answer.MikeTPS10 yearsI received a call earlier today from 030816, where the chap on the other end, sporting a thick Indian accent, claimed to represent the Telephone Preference Management Service. He informed me that I was inundated with nuisance calls because my service contract had lapsed, allegedly due to my credit card being out of date. He proceeded to ask for my credit card information to 'verify' it. I said it wasn't the best time for me to chat but offered to call him back after dinner if he provided his home phone number. To my surprise, he hung up quite abruptly!Telephone Preference Management Service10 yearsI recently stumbled upon a company masquerading as the Telephone Preference Service. Alarmingly, they possess a wealth of my personal information and then went on to request verification through my bank or an outdated credit card to supposedly keep nuisance calls at bay. I was quite taken aback to find they had my name, address, and bits of my card info. Naturally, I refused to divulge any more information, nor did I part with my cash to continue their service, especially ironic considering their call was the sole nuisance I've received in ages!Telephone Preference ServiceSubmit Your Own Report (0800 326281)
