Apologies, I bumbled the details earlier, not really done this kinda stuff before. But this could help with tracking down: Found 3 cards. First, Andy Stiles from Comstal Technology Services with his photo on it. Second, a pretty battered photo card for an Aimteq Engineer. And lastly, a faded white card that had 'Serial No. C172373' and the number 0800321999 on it. Hope it's useful!

The number 0800 661 441 actually belongs to the BT scam team, so it’s real. However, scammers can fake it, making it look like they’re calling from it even though they’re not.

Called by someone saying they were from BT, claiming they could reduce my bill. They seemed really clued up about the services I had but didn’t know about the discounts I already had, so instead of saving money, my bill was actually going to go up!

the number showed up in a letter i got about a supposed computer virus. it claimed to be from bt, but when i rang them, they said they never sent anything like that and it’s definitely a scam. they told me to pass the letter on to royal mail, which i did, so hopefully they can track down who’s behind it.

Scam Call from BT. Today, I received a call from a woman who had a pronounced Indian accent claiming to be from BT. She informed me that my router was supposedly sending distress signals to their servers alerting them about numerous “wiruses” - I think she meant viruses! Curious, I inquired about which BT office she was representing. To my surprise, she mentioned 81 Newgate Street in London. So, I challenged her to name a coffee establishment nearby or the nearest Tube station. Suddenly, she fell silent and promptly ended the call. Quite amusing, really! :)
