About seven years ago, I spoke to a firm called Life Search regarding life insurance. I haven’t had anything to do with them since, but yesterday I got seven calls from them. When I rang them back, they actually denied making the calls even though their number clearly showed up on my phone. I answered again today and asked why they kept bothering me, but they denied it all over again. Such dishonest behaviour.

Be wary of this number, its often used for insurance scams like life insurance, funeral plans, and even things like white goods or SKY box warranties. Seems like they might all come from one call centre in India. Best thing to do is just let it ring out or hang up straight away and if you can, report it to Action Fraud online. Saves others getting caught out.

Since Sunday, I’ve had like 7 calls, even though I only bought a cheap £4.91 travel policy through Compare the Market to get some 2-for-1 meal deals. I’ve blocked the 3 numbers they kept using but I bet they’ll just call from new ones. I had set my contact settings to “No Contact” too, so doesn’t feel right, could be a GDPR or data protection thing? Proper annoying!

We find ourselves in a remarkably similar predicament as the previous commenter. Having been in remission from prostate cancer for the past two years, we initially had a mostly positive experience with this company through Fortis. However, it came to light that they failed to disclose important information!
