I'm not sure who is calling me at the moment. I read somewhere that it could possibly be the AA. I used a comparison site to find a cheap AA Recovery package along with insurance. The insurance doesn't automatically renew, but like many recovery plans, they do. In order to avoid this, I cancelled the direct debit, so they wouldn't be able to renew without my permission. Now they are asking for updated information, which makes me think this phone call is from them. I'm not interested in talking to them because when you call, they usually ask a bunch of questions and record your voice for "training purposes". It would be great if we could put an end to mandatory auto-renewals and get rid of the need to use the phone for cancelation or simply saying "no thanks." Especially since we initially used the internet for the deal in the first place.
