Hello AA, I reckon once you let them know you no longer wish to receive calls, they ought to honour that request without delay! For everyone else out there, if you find yourself answering only to silence, it’s probably due to an automated dialling system. This tech is a nifty little piece of kit that rings up numbers without any human intervention while the details pop up on the operator’s screen. More often than not, these calls are completely random, with the folks on the other end trying to sell you something. If you find yourself in a prolonged silence, best to hang up promptly!

I'm utterly tired of these persistent calls from AA. No matter how many times I disregard them, they keep trying. The sole reason we never shared our mobile number for any breakdown communications was to avoid exactly this kind of hassle. It seems they've interpreted that as an open invitation to bombard us with a barrage of sales calls. I've decided to switch to RAC with the hope of better service!

I've been receiving calls from this number on a daily basis, but we've been just letting them ring out. Blimey, we’ve had countless missed calls from this lot in no time at all! They keep leaving voicemails, but it’s just the sound of that annoying ringing noise in the background-no one actually says a word! Thank goodness we don’t have to fork out any money to listen to those daft messages; what a silly expense that would be! With all these bothersome calls they're bombarding us with, I reckon I’ll definitely look for another breakdown service next time we need one.

I’ve been getting calls from 0161 332 9001 and it seems I’m not the only one, as there are loads of similar complaints online. The mystery deepens, as I can’t recall handing out my mobile number to anyone or filling out any forms that would lead to these calls.
