I rang that number a couple of times but it never answered, just kept saying the line was busy.

Had a call from some 'tech support' folks claiming my computer was infected. Definitely a scam - never let anyone remote into your machine, it's not worth the risk!

Some bloke rang up pretending to be from McAfee's tech support. He didn't bother asking what issue I was having, just jumped straight in and started scanning my PC. Afterwards, I managed to get through to the genuine tech people. Definitely some dodgy Indian scammer with rubbish English spelling.

This bunch claiming to be tech support from India are absolute scammers. Seriously, the best thing is to just ignore their calls or hang up if they ring you. Never ever give them remote access to your computer, it’s a total waste of time and could cause all sorts of problems.
