I’m utterly fed up with these callers! They’ve rung us a staggering nine times today alone, on a Sunday no less! The first one came in at 08:35, and they’ve been relentless right up to 17:33. It’s like they've got nothing better to do! They’ve not only been hammering our home phone but have relentlessly targeted our mobile as well-seriously, nine calls! It seems every time we settle our monthly bill, they slap on some interest, which sends us over our limit and prompts yet another annoying call. We even tried negotiating to settle by direct debit at the end of the week, but they insist it has to be done by the 16th - hence, more calls! It’s infuriating and completely unacceptable!

I’ve recently set up a brand new phone number for our business’s fax line, and I can’t understand why it keeps ringing incessantly without a single fax coming through. I decided to connect a phone to the socket to use the 1471 service, and, surprise surprise, it turns out the calls are from Vanquis Bank! I just had a chat with Ruheena from their customer support team, who assured me that they will update their records and stop bothering us with these calls. Received a call from this number at 8:10 in the morning! My partner has a Vanquis account, so it seems these callers might be after him. We’ve had our fill of these irritating calls, so now we just disconnect the phone. If it’s important, they can always leave a message - the BT 1571 service is still operational even with the phone unplugged! Finally enjoying some tranquillity throughout the day!

Once, when I answered, a lady asked for someone whose name I didn't recognise. I let her know she had the wrong number, and not long after, she hung up. It's undoubtedly Vanquis Bank that's been bothering us. Apparently, a former resident swindled them, and now we're left enduring their relentless calls - typically ten a day!
