Every day, without fail, from 8 in the morning until midnight, the phone rings twice and then just cuts off. The same thing happens with our mobile - two rings, and then silence. Whenever we attempt to return the call, we’re met with an endless engaged tone. We reached out to British Telecom’s special investigations unit, and they've informed us that this number is classified as a capital asset. Given that we’re not in any debt whatsoever, we’ve decided to lodge a formal complaint with Ofcom as well as the police.
