It was an automated voice, claiming to be from the Department for Work and Pensions, warning me that my national insurance number would be suspended because of alleged fraudulent activity. They instructed me to press 1 to speak to someone, but I didn’t follow through and hung up straight away. I’ve since reported the incident to my work coach via my Universal Credit journal for good measure.
