Just like many others, I filled out the Youfibre form since getting a quote isn’t possible otherwise. The form clearly says to tick a box if you’re happy to be contacted by phone, email, or other means. I didn’t check any of those boxes as I didn’t want any calls or marketing. But within a day, the same number has rung me three times. This is totally against ICO, PECR, and TPS regulations. I’m definitely going to report them to the ICO and other relevant authorities.

I've been getting loads of calls from YouFibre every single day. I filled out a quote form on their site but didn’t tick the box saying I wanted to be contacted. Still, they ring and email non stop! The first call came just minutes after I sent off the quote. I’ve now made a complaint to the ICO about this.

You can't move on without giving your contact info first, which seems like a really dodgy, desperate trick to me. Right after, I got the first call and then loads more over the next few days. I'm definitely reporting them to OFCOM and the communications watchdog. These sketchy tactics shouldn't be happening nowadays.

I had this rather persistent chap with a thick Indian accent ringing me up, insisting that I ought to switch my broadband provider.
