Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky, said my box was outdated and they’d send a replacement. Offered to lower my payments since I’ve been with them ages and I’m over 70. They even knew my full name, address, and birthday. I rang Sky directly and it turned out to be a fraud. I told my bank to watch out for any new direct debits, but thankfully they never act without checking with me first. Just a heads up, these scammers are proper dodgy.
