I stumbled upon a number that claimed to be associated with BT’s customer services. When I rang them, I didn’t cotton on immediately that I wasn’t actually chatting with a BT representative. They proceeded to ask for my email and various personal information, and it was only then that I realised something was amiss and that they weren’t legit BT staff at all.
