Then they left a voicemail asking me to ring a different number back, but it wasn’t an official Welsh Water contact. The first number showed up flagged as a possible scam on my phone. I’ve recently applied for a water meter myself, as bills have gone through the roof for many. Definitely don’t trust that 0330 number - it’s a total scam.
