I just had a phone call from someone who mentioned my name directly, but when I pressed for details on how they came to know it, they refused to enlighten me. Quite peculiar, isn’t it?

I received a phone call from someone named Chris, who asserted he was with the Norton Security Team. He went on about how my computer had been breached by hackers based in Russia and that my personal information was apparently being exploited by countless cybercriminals. He even offered me the option to end the call if I had any doubts, so I decided to hang up. He seemed rather persuasive... Just a word of caution to everyone!

This number pretends to be from Yahoo, and then just moments later, they switch to saying they're from Microsoft. Honestly, it's infuriating. I'm seriously considering turning this computer off for good! What a bunch of moronic spammers! - caller: ‭+44 800 229 4916‬

Received a call purporting to be from Windows Licensing, and I must say, they were rather pushy in their approach.

Received a rather dubious phone call from someone purporting to represent the Windows licensing team. When I mentioned that I don’t own a Windows machine, he insisted that I do and even claimed to possess my license number. Quite alarmingly, he threatened to revoke my license if I didn’t comply with his demands. Feeling rather bold, I told him to crack on with it. At that point, he abruptly ended the call. I’m in the process of reporting this incident, so it’s clear his little scheme fell flat!
