Man sollte auf gar keinen Fall seine Bankdetails am Telefon preisgeben. Meiner Meinung nach ist es sehr unwahrscheinlich, dass seriöse Firmen solche Informationen telefonisch abfragen. In solch Situationen ist höchste Wachsamkeit angesagt! Ich werde ebenfalls von dieser Nummer kontaktiert, doch am anderen Ende der Leitung scheint immer nur Schweigen zu herrschen.

Observation: They've been calling me daily around the same time for the past three weeks. Response: I'll give them a ring back myself and let them rack up some charges. It's definitely easier with a mobile. I reckon they'll get fed up with this soon enough. They claim to be some sort of billing service for Telekom, but the legitimate Telekom calls, like the one from 0800 330 1000, feel entirely different.

Zusaetzliche Hinweise: Es ist eine glatte Absurdität, am Telefon eine Einzugsermächtigung zu erteilen. Wirklich, das ist ein absolutes Tabu! Man weiss nie, wer am anderen Ende der Leitung sitzt-es könnte jeder x-beliebige sein, bloss nicht die Person, die man annimmt! Seid gewarnt!!!

I had a call from these folks earlier today. The chap on the line claimed he was from the German Telekom Support Centre and inquired about when we might be interested in switching our billing method to email or online formats. We made it clear that we preferred to continue receiving our bills through the post. Not long after, he said all was well and hung up. Quite the odd encounter, really!
