So this number rung me earlier and the moment I picked up, they just ended the call straight away. I tried ringing it back from my home phone because I wasn't about give out my mobile and get charged. When I did, an automated voice came on, said it was SSE and they wanted to chat about their products or something. Honestly, why on earth would I want to discuss what they’re selling? Proper weird.

I received a couple of missed calls from this number today-one at precisely 11:23 AM and another later on at 2:54 PM. Now, when we finally answered the phone during the second call, the line went dead immediately after we picked up. After doing a bit of digging, it appears this number is linked to Scottish & Southern Energy, a company I've never had any dealings with. Honestly, these calls are quite bothersome and frankly should be curtailed.

We keep getting calls from this number every single day, beginning at 11 in the morning and then again around four hours later. I used to answer it, but it’s mostly silent on the other end. Fortunately, our caller ID lets us know who’s ringing, so we just let it go to voicemail now. Still, I’m quite keen to find out who I can lodge a complaint with, as it's really starting to drive us up the wall!
