I've just received a rather intrusive message offering to add some kind of 'house start' to my AA Membership. It’s a real nuisance, honestly! It has all the hallmarks of a scam, much like those dodgy texts from supposed banks or accident claim companies that keep flooding my inbox-they're all formatted in the same, suspicious way. If this keeps up, it'll be rather tiresome!

I received a message that looks identical to one I saw about the AA, but there's no sender listed. The text says to call 080482655. We tried replying with "quit," but I've just twigged that I’ll probably get hit with a hefty fee for sending that message to 81830. Now I fear I’ll be bombarded with further texts urging me to send another "quit" message, just racking up more charges! I reckon the wisest move would’ve been to ignore it altogether.

I received the exact same message, seemingly from the AA, but there's no information regarding the sender. The text urges me to contact 08000482655. I replied with "quit" via SMS, but I've just realised I might end up with a hefty bill for messaging 81830. It seems likely I’ll keep receiving these messages, coaxing me into responding again and incurring further charges. Honestly, perhaps the wisest move would have been to simply ignore it altogether?

Received a message saying: "FreeMSG: You’ve got to collect the remainder of your AA payment plus a tenner. Call this number, etc. etc." Honestly, I’ve seen a spate of these texts lately, and they're nothing short of a hassle - looks like a complete scam to me! They claim to be affiliated with our bank, but it's the same dodgy structure every single time. Just a right nuisance. S
