Although she can't remember the details of their conversation, she did jot down the phone number along with the name Appliance Care in her diary. Then, on 5th November, a sum of £180 was debited from her account, clearly labelled from Appliance Care in Chichester. However, when I reached out to their switchboard and followed up with some emails, they feigned ignorance about Appliance Care, claiming they're actually known as Home Appliance Assist. They have refused to clarify how they initiated contact using their number. My attempts to investigate this via online searches have proven fruitless.
