9 yearsWhat an absolute nuisance! They’ve been ringing me practically every single day from the number 02034766 168. It appears to be some insulation company called EDS or possibly EDF, though it’s rather unclear. I’ve tried answering the calls right away, but there’s no one there-just dead air until they hang up. Yet when I attempt to return the call, a recorded voice informs me that they've tried to reach me, but missed me and will be dialling again shortly. I eventually managed to get through on the 088 number. Turns out, it’s an insulation operation based in Bournemouth. They revealed they have 50 outgoing lines and 15 operators, and their calls are all blasted through the internet. They hang up after a mere 16 seconds! This means there’s only a 50:15 (roughly 1 in 3.3) chance of actually connecting with someone live at the other end, assuming the poor sod picks up within that tight timeframe.
