9 yearsThey phone nearly every single day from a number starting with 02034766 168 - pure nuisance. Looks like it’s some insulation company called either EDS or EDF, but can’t quite tell for sure. I answer right as they ring but there’s never anyone there, they just hang up straight away. Yet, if I call back, there’s a recorded message saying they tried ringing me and will try again later. I finally got through on a different Bournemouth number that begins with 088. They explained they’ve got about 50 lines and only 15 people answering calls. Their system is all done online and they hang up after about 16 seconds. So realistically, there’s maybe a 1 in 3 chance anyone’s actually going to pick up before the call ends, assuming someone is quick enough to get to the phone in time.
