Got two calls just like some others mentioned, right after I put up an ad on Gumtree. When I told the caller I wasn’t able to claim because I supposedly passed away in the crash, he suddenly stopped talking. Now, both those numbers are blocked.

I posted an ad on Gumtree and, no lie, within seconds this number was already ringing my phone. The first time I answered, the caller hung up straight away. Then, it rang again almost immediately. Since my name clearly shows I’m Pakistani, the person on the line suddenly switched to speaking Punjabi very quickly, claiming I’d been involved in an accident sometime in the past three years. Total scam - definitely steer clear of this number!

Got a call from this number today but didn’t pick up. They left a voicemail with an Indian guy mumbling to himself in what sounded like his own language, and I could also hear some other Indian voices chatting in the background. Feels like it might be one of those Indian call centre things.

The connection was dodgy, so when I asked for the company’s address to check, all I could catch was something like 59 and London.
