My dear mother, who’s a sprightly 76, received a rather questionable call from this number claiming to be affiliated with RBS. I’m uncertain if she divulged any personal details. When I snatched the phone away from her, I decided to do a quick search while still on the line. It seems that others have reported similar calls, albeit with different banks. It’s imperative that we, as caring offspring, advise our elderly parents to steer clear of sharing any sensitive information with unsolicited callers. Better safe than sorry!
