I think this might be a scam, I’ve never come across fast track reclaim before and they gave me this number claiming it was Halifax Bank of Scotland I was supposed to ring. Better double check with Halifax directly before you call.

A bloke rang me from a private number earlier, said his name and claimed he was calling from Halifax. Didn’t offer much else since it was a private caller. He did give me the number 0800 151 0293 to look up, though, and said he’ll be ringing me again tomorrow.

Honestly, I was quite surprised today when I got a cheque through the post with no accompanying letter or explanation. It had the heading HSPF (Home Shopping Personal Finance) from Bank of Scotland. I didn’t know what it was about, so I looked up the phone number and ended up on this site. Don’t just dismiss these calls - I reckon it’s something to do with PPI. From what I gather, Halifax might have taken over several businesses related to this.

i rang back after gettin a call about a Halifax ppi claim. the whole thing felt a bit odd. they asked how i wanted to get paid. i told them i prefer a cheque so i dont have to give out my bank info.

Somebody claiming to be from Halifax rang me from a blocked number. He said he was calling from Leeds and gave the name Graham Andrews. He told me to ring 08001510293 but first asked me to log into his computer. He was way too confident, and I reckon it was a scam. Watch out!

Got a phone call from someone called ‘Raphael’ who told me I filed a PPI claim with Bank of Scotland back on 12th Jan 2018. Thing is, I’ve never been a customer of Bank of Scotland and I definitely never made any claim. So who on earth is this ‘Raphael’ and how did he get hold of my details? To top it off, the call came through as ‘No caller ID’. Definitely doesn’t feel legit to me.

A few years back I put in a PPI claim with Halifax and got £1600 back. Recently, they sent me a letter asking me to contact them about PPL. I checked the number online before ringing to be sure it was legit, turns out it was the official Halifax PPI claims line. A woman working from an overseas branch answered and said they're going to be sending me another £400 soon. Really grateful for that!

Just got a call from a withheld number asking me to verify my birthday, which i refused to do. then the bloke said i could visit either the Halifax or Bank of Scotland to check the info and gave me some sort of ref number. i told him i keep getting calls like this and he carried on saying he’s legit, so not to stress.

This morning I got a ring from someone called Debbie saying she was from Halifax, asking me to verify my info. I didn’t give any details since it was an unexpected call. Later on, I checked Halifax’s official site but couldn’t see that number (0800 151 0293) anywhere listed. So I called Halifax myself, and it turned out the call was regarding a PPI claim that’s in progress.

This number rang me about some PPI thing from a couple of years ago. I couldn't recall ever putting in a claim so I refused to share any info. The bloke tried to pass me this number to check who he was but was really hesitant about giving me his name. After a bit of push, he said his name was Paul. He rang me back less than an hour later and I told him to call back the next day. I'll let you know what happens after that.

Last night around 8:47pm, i got a call from this number. A woman said she was from Bank of Scotland and wanted to talk about a letter dated 12/01/2013. She asked me for some security info but i refused to give any. She mentioned something about a PPI complaint i'd made. I told her i prefer not to handle these things on the phone. She then told me to look up the number on Google and said she'd call me back later that evening.

Today this number popped up, someone saying they were Kenneth from RBS. He wanted my full date of birth but I only gave the year. Strangely, he had my address and postcode correct and even mentioned a credit card I had way back in 1992 plus where I used to work then. Now I’m just waiting to see if I get that massive cheque he hinted at! 😂

Got a call from this number tonight. The guy on the line, sounded like he was in his early 30s with a sort of posh accent, said I needed to confirm some Halifax ID stuff. He asked me for some "verification" info but I was really iffy about giving anything away. I just said no to sharing any ID or personal details and told him I wouldn't give more info unless I could ring that number back first, especially since it was about a PPI claim or something.

Today, I received a call from a withheld number, claiming to be from Halifax regarding a purported claim from back in 2012. I queried how I could verify if the call was genuinely from Halifax, to which they provided me with a reference number and the number 08001510293. Upon checking that through SayNoTo0870, it came up as linked to Halifax PPI. I dialled it from my landline, only to find it seems to connect through to Lloyds Group in the Philippines. I decided to terminate the call right away. I've also made sure to report this directly to Halifax via their social media channels.

Earlier this evening, precisely at 19:08, I received a call from a “NO CALLER ID.” The woman on the line professed to be with the Halifax PPI team. I got a call early this morning around 8am from someone saying they were from Halifax, asking for my details about a PPI claim. The number showed as out of area on my landline. I didn’t want to give any info, so he ended up giving me his name and a phone number hesitantly. When I rang back, a lady answered and confirmed his name but the reference number she gave me for the policy didn’t match what I have. Feels a bit dodgy, probably a scam in my opinion.
