I've come to find out that the individuals behind this number are affiliated with a call centre firm linked to E-On, though they are not directly part of E-On itself, as confirmed by the supervisor we chatted with. They go by the name Inkfish, and their address is listed as Queen Square Home, 15 Queen Square, Brighton BN1 3FD. The contact number we got was 01273 384 444. It's incredibly frustrating because I had previously removed our phone number from our E-On account, yet it seems these folks managed to retrieve it from two other sources we were unaware of. When I reached out to E-On’s complaints department, they didn’t have a clue about the number 0800 121 8139, but clearly, this lot does!

Today, we received two calls from this number, and one from 01273 384548. Our number is quite recent, so it’s a mystery how they've managed to get hold of it. Every time we answer, they hang up straight away. When we try to call them back, the line is perpetually busy. Quite baffling, really!

I've just received yet another call from this number-can you believe it? That makes five times today alone! I spoke with a chap named Tom, and let me tell you, he was utterly apathetic about the whole situation. He mentioned that these kinds of calls are just part and parcel of their routine. It's rather vexing, isn't it? We've had calls from them two weeks on the trot! It appears to be some sort of automated sales calling system, which doesn't bother to leave a voicemail - simply infuriating! Despite being on a list to block such calls, these folks manage to bypass it since we are customers. Just to clarify, we've already got boiler cover sorted. And as someone else pointed out, it doesn't seem to respond when you attempt to call back. Quite the nuisance, really!

I've just had yet another call from this number-fifth time today alone! I ended up chatting with a chap named Tom, who mentioned that this sort of thing is quite frequent. He came across as utterly indifferent, to be honest. The silver lining here, and trust me it was enlightening, is that we’ve decided to steer clear of Domestic and General from now on. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to waste their time on household insurance with them. D&G is definitely off our list for good!

For the past month, I've been receiving one of these calls every day, and it's becoming absolutely tiresome. We don't have a clue as to who it might be, but someone did throw out the name E. On earlier. Since we happen to be customers of E. On (previously known as Powergen), I'm starting to suspect that this could be one of their sales agents trying to get in touch. Quite frustrating, really!
