I received a phone call from someone purporting to be with the Bank of Ireland’s Credit Card division, claiming they needed to speak to my son about his credit card account. The caller insisted it was quite urgent and urged that he get in touch using the number provided. He mentioned he was calling from Dublin but seemed rather hesitant to share any additional contact details or a specific address. Quite dodgy, if you ask me.
