I had indeed tried to make a purchase there that didn’t go through, and I later discovered some rather dodgy reviews suggesting it was a phishing attempt, which prompted me to cancel my card. Now here’s the twist-I'm actually a fraud investigator for the bank and work from home, so I told him I’d log into my account to verify things myself! I also asked for his full name, but surprise, surprise, there was no mention of him in the bank’s records, nor were there any attempts to access my account or utilise the card that I had already halted.
