I recently received a phone call from this number, with someone purporting to be a representative from my bank. The bloke sounded quite convincing, talking about transactions related to a bookshop, and mentioned that there was an attempt to access my online banking. I had indeed tried to make a purchase there that didn’t go through, and I later discovered some rather dodgy reviews suggesting it was a phishing attempt, which prompted me to cancel my card. Now here’s the twist-I'm actually a fraud investigator for the bank and work from home, so I told him I’d log into my account to verify things myself! I also asked for his full name, but surprise, surprise, there was no mention of him in the bank’s records, nor were there any attempts to access my account or utilise the card that I had already halted. It’s undoubtedly a scam aimed at getting your one-time password and breaching your bank account. Stay vigilant, folks!

BEWARE! I received a call from someone purporting to be with Virgin Money. It turns out these crooks had somehow accessed my card information via a phishing scheme. They claimed my account was under threat due to dubious activity earlier that same day. Ironically, they were conducting their own dodgy transactions while they were on the line! They attempted to trick me into entering OTPs, insisting it was necessary to halt those transactions, when really they were just fishing for my confirmation. Stay vigilant, everyone!

What a complete scam! I received a call from someone purporting to be from Virgin Money. It turns out these crooks somehow got hold of my card information through a phishing scheme. They were going on about some dubious activity on my account that day, but it seems they were actually in the midst of conducting their own dodgy transactions. They urged me to enter one-time passwords, pretending they were needed to halt the transactions, when in reality, they were just trying to get me to authorise their thievery. Unbelievable!

Absolutely a scam! They claimed there was unusual activity on my Royal Bank of Scotland account, but guess what? I've never held an account with them! I hung up immediately. Best to just cut the call and save yourself the hassle!

I found myself caught up with some dodgy characters who had my card information. They attempted to manipulate me into transferring funds from my account to one of my other accounts, and eventually into a fresh account they'd apparently created in my name. These blokes put in a solid 45 minutes trying to con me. Shockingly, they already knew my postcode, my phone number, and had details about past transactions-many of which they’d orchestrated themselves!

Clearly a scam! They claimed to be contacting me regarding some supposed activity on my Virgin Credit Card, but the truth is, I don’t even possess a Virgin Credit Card! What a baffling situation!

Received a call claiming to be from my bank, stating there had been three hefty suspicious transactions. They went into great detail, probing for the last four digits of my card, along with my name, address, email, and phone number. Then they unexpectedly requested my date of birth to conduct some sort of account check. I hung up and contacted my bank directly, only to find out it was all a scam. I advise you not to engage with such calls!
