i sent a couple of letters to London and when i called them, the call got dropped. they tried giving me a new reference number. later, someone rang back apologising for the cut off. meanwhile, i spoke to another person and told frank (the guy who ended the call) he was too late as someone else had already helped me. now im stuck in limbo after sending what they asked for to London. no idea if this is a scam or legit. cheers, johnpyy

i’m employed at a claims firm that handles mis-sold ppi cases, and i can say for sure this is indeed the financial ombudsman service calling.
