I just had the misfortune of encountering a right dodgy scam call. An individual with an Asian accent phoned me, claiming to be from Microsoft Windows support, insisting that my computer had been infected with a virus. He then wanted to gain remote access to my computer, along with my banking details, so he could bill me for a cleanup service. Don't fall for this nonsense! The number he used was 08001133206, but I reckon they switch it up with different 0800 variations as well. Stay alert, folks!
