A mysterious caller dropped the line before we could say a word. We tried ringing the number again, but it just rang out-no answer. We're completely stumped as to who it could have been.

We received a phone call from this number, which turned out to be from MBNA. We typically don’t answer calls from numbers we don’t recognise. Legitimate callers usually leave a message if it’s important. Instead, we just got an automated message instructing us to ring MBNA back at this same number but without any context as to why they wish to speak with us. We have no plans to return their call; if it’s truly urgent, they can send us a letter instead.

Seems like this lot from MBNA or one of their dodgy affiliates are at it again. Honestly, trying to get them on the phone with a complaint is like chatting to a brick wall-utterly pointless. They wouldn't know their backside from their elbow! All you're likely to achieve is ending up on their call list, just what you need, right?

I received a call from a number that I didn't recognise and thought it might be my ex who walked out on me about a year back. When I asked the lady who answered the phone for more details about the caller, she simply said it was a private line. Quite mysterious if you ask me!

Last week, we received a call from this number, but chose not to respond. Subsequently, they left a voicemail asking us to call back, which we ignored. Just a short while ago, the same number rang again, so we thought we’d pick up this time. However, after saying “Hello?” on three occasions, no one bothered to respond! If they’re trying to sell something, they might want to rethink their approach, because this isn’t the way to do it!

Absolutely, these folks gave us a ring earlier today. Initially, it was from one number, and then another soon followed. Quite frankly, it was a mistake on our part to have ever returned their call.

I received a call claiming to be from MBNA, but when we asked them to confirm their identity through the post, they flatly refused. A rather suspicious fellow named Sameer Khan tried his utmost to reassure us that they were indeed legitimate. However, we’re still quite wary of any company that won’t verify their credentials via mail, especially when they claim to be associated with well-known names like Virgin, Sainsbury's, and Loans.co. United Kingdom. Just a word of caution, stay vigilant!

We've experienced the same thing-received a call only for them to hang up straight away. It's rather puzzling, isn't it? What is the purpose of a business engaging in such behaviour?

I've been getting repeated calls during the day from this number, but they never leave a message. When I try to return the call, I can’t seem to get through-just silence on the other end. Quite baffling, really!

Turns out this wasn't actually MBNA, but rather an outfit that seems to be masquerading under their name. Earlier today, we got quite the harassing phone call, and after lodging a complaint directly to their head office, we were eventually connected to a manager. They clarified that this number has no connection to them whatsoever and assured us that they'll be following up on the information we supplied in an effort to sort out this issue.

I’ve received numerous calls from the number 01772555844, and it appears to be linked to a loans company, probably MBNA. We applied for a credit card, and ever since, I’ve been bombarded with incessant calls from this digit. My recommendation? Just disregard them entirely!
