The person on the line, claiming to be from Microsoft, instructed me to contact HP support and provided the number 08001026450. Be cautious! This individual will attempt to install Ultraviewer on your device under the pretense of diagnosing issues with your computer. As if that weren't enough, he tries to hit you with fees ranging from £350 to £600, claiming it's for Microsoft protection. Thankfully, I didn't fall for it as I already have adequate free security software in place. I found the removal process quite tricky and eventually reached out to Norton, who successfully got rid of it for me. It’s definitely a scam.
