The guy pretending to be from Microsoft told me to call HP support and gave me 08001026450. Be careful! He tries to get you to install ultraviewer on your computer to “check for problems.” Then he slaps on a bill anywhere between £350 and £600, saying it’s for Microsoft protection. Luckily, I didn’t pay up since I already use free protection. It was a nightmare to get rid of, so I had to call Norton who sorted it out for me. This is definitely a con.
