I reckon Binance might be dodgy, looks like a total rip-off to me.

So, I was browsing Facebook and clicked on a link, then suddenly my computer showed a message saying it was locked. Along with that, this number popped up. I rang it, but when they asked for my MacBook’s PIN, I just said I’d bring it to an Apple shop instead. The guy, who sounded Indian, was all serious and made me a bit nervous since my laptop’s my lifeline. Just a heads up, it’s not only phone calls you have to watch out for…

Got a ring on my phone from someone called Andrew Williams, claiming to be from The Healthcare Team about some medical alert or something. Anyone else had this? Seems a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from some bloke claiming they’d send out a new emergency alarm by post. Then he started asking for my elderly mum’s bank info - definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call on my home phone yesterday from someone named Andrew Williams claiming he was with Taking Care. He said my debit card had expired and asked for the new card details. I told him I couldn't give that info right now, so he suggested I ring back on 0800 102 6298. Weird thing was, he already knew my address. I’ve only just got a new debit card myself. After looking up the number, I reckon it’s a scam and I’m definitely not calling that back.

My mum got a call from someone named Mr Williams saying she had to update her card info for her emergency alarm. It was pretty obvious it was a con since I sort out her payments through direct debit. The number they rang from was 08001026298. Thankfully, she didn't fall for it and kept her details safe. I've also let her alarm provider know about the call.

They wanted me to cough up 250 quid just to renew my contract, which seemed a bit dodgy to me.

This morning, one of my older clients got a phone call from a bloke who said his name was Sam Wilson and that he was calling from Care Line. He sounded really convincing and, sadly, she ended up giving him her debit card info. Luckily, I managed to get there pretty quickly afterwards and got her bank to cancel the card before any harm could be done.

Someone used this number as their return contact when they tricked my 90-year-old dad, pretending to be from the NHS and trying to sell him a pendant alarm. It’s awful they managed to fool him like that.

I got a call from 02037699839 about a care alarm system, saying I needed to pay for the next year. They wouldn’t tell me their name straight away, only after I asked. They gave me a number to call back to check if the call was real. I got suspicious and the call ended pretty quick after that.

Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

They called me saying my debit card was expiring real soon and that my security alarm wouldn't function without updating info. Kept pushing hard to get my card details, but once they realised I wasn’t falling for their spiel, they hung up sharpish. Proper dodgy move, felt like a scam from the start.

Got a call and voicemail meant for my mum, who passed away back in 2019 - pretty obvious red flag to me. But my poor dad figured it might be the hospital trying to get some details. Luckily, I checked the reviews here first. Really glad I did. By the way, the caller said his name was Andrew.

My mum, who’s quite old, had a very similar call from a bloke claiming to be Andrew Williams. He said her alarm system expiry was overdue and asked for her credit card details. When she said she wasn’t handling that and asked for his number instead, he sounded pretty irritated. I’ve tried reaching this Andrew Williams chap but got nowhere. I’m pretty sure this is just a con!

An old lady I know got a call from this number saying her alarm system had expired and needed updating. The bloke said his name was Andrew Williams. I tried calling the number back for her but couldn’t get through to anyone. Not sure if this was legit or just a scam.
