Got a call from someone claiming to be British Gas, saying there was some issue with my meter reading not matching the meter number they had on file for my place. Don’t share any details with them! The number they told me to call back on, 0800 100 104, isn’t actually British Gas at all. This is definitely a scam - they even tried to sweet talk me by saying they could reduce my bill by loads. Stay sharp, folks!
