A total scam, if you ask me! My computer completely froze after I clicked on what looked like a harmless link to a film review. Some chap with an Indian accent claimed to be a contractor for Apple, insisting that they needed my credit card details to "repair" my perfectly functioning computer for a fee of £129. Please, whatever you do, don’t engage with these calls! If you see a message like that pop up on your screen, exit the internet immediately and run your malware detection software. Definitely don’t pick up the phone to them!

Thankfully, she thought twice before sharing her card details when they requested them.
