I’ve been dealing with a complaint and this contact has been right there at the top of all the letters I’ve gotten from them since January 2021. When they ring, they’ll need to check it’s really you, so they’ll ask for your name and address then explain why they’re calling, probably also checking one detail about your account type or overdraft arrangements. Just so you know, banks never ask for your debit card info or PIN under any circumstances. If someone tries that, just politely say no and ask for them to put it in writing, then tell them you’ll get back to them yourself.
