Looks like some kind of life insurance company. I checked their site after watching a TV commercial. Put in some simple info and hit “get quote” but then they said someone would ring me. If I wanted to chat with a sales rep, I’d have just called myself! Have blocked the number now.

I've started adding all those pesky numbers I prefer to avoid, and my phone allows me to block calls from specific contacts. I've been receiving daily calls from Consumer Lifestyle Survey over the past week, even after I’ve made it clear that I'm not keen on participating. It’s quite frustrating, to say the least!

This so-called "Consumer Lifestyle Survey" seems dodgy to me. I have my suspicions it could be a scam. I've noticed that the number often starts with 00, which implies it might be an international call coming into the UK. It's been a week of relentless calls despite us clearly stating from the outset that we aren't interested in participating in surveys. The caller keeps insisting they're from "Consumer Lifestyle Surveys." Quite irritating, to say the least!

It was some guy with a Pakistani accent. Honestly, just wish I knew where to find them!!!

I'm absolutely at my wits' end with the incessant calls from these chaps. It's baffling how they seem to know more about me than I do! One of them hung up abruptly, yet the calls keep coming. It's driving me up the wall!

I’ve lodged a complaint about this number at the ICO's website: https://ico.org.uk/concerns/marketing/report-telesales-calls/. It appears to have absolutely no effect whatsoever! What exactly is the ICO doing with our complaints?

I’ve been receiving calls from this number daily at the exact same hour, which is utterly infuriating. It’s been going on for a week now! Although we’ve set up a call blocking feature on our phone, somehow this persistent caller still manages to get through. What a nuisance!

Got a call from some bloke with a robotic voice doing consumer lifestyle surveys. Told him I don’t do surveys and he just hung up. Second time in two days they’ve called.

This Asian guy keeps calling me even tho I’m on the TPS. I told him to take me off his list and he just called me a bloody b*****d. How rude is that?

Another bothersome call has landed in my lap, and wouldn’t you know it, I thought it might be a mate ringing, but nope! After enduring a barrage of what I can only describe as utter nonsense, I decided it was high time to get back on the Telephone Preference Service list. Turns out, I’m already registered - how useful! This whole affair seems utterly pointless if all it's good for is a laugh, particularly with that doddery chap who can barely string a sentence together. I’m definitely on the lookout for a call blocker now, especially since it seems they've managed to snag my mobile number. It’s a good rule of thumb to keep that under wraps, only sharing it with trusted friends!

This was DLG, like Data and Lead Generation or something. Their number is 0800 526871. By law, they have to tell you where they got your info from (usually from online quizzes or surveys that automatically sign you up for marketing calls). They also have to take your details off their list if you ask them to. Plus, they're legally bound to get your info back from any firm they've sold it to.

Just like nearly every other caller, I've found myself inundated with these nuisance rings. Despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it seems to make no difference whatsoever. I hardly ever pick up my landline these days, much like many folks out there. It's baffling why we can't simply pick up our own phones without it turning into an unwanted hassle!

They’ve been ringing me every single day this week. I finally picked up and it was one of those “consumer lifestyle” surveys. They threw at me a bunch of quick questions like the age of my boiler (!), whether I give to charity, who my internet provider is - stuff they probably don’t really care about - and then brought up PPI. I just gave some made up answers or said I wasn’t willing to share info. Asked them straight to remove me from their list and not to share my details anywhere. I’m signed up to TPS so they’ll be reported anyway.

I've been receiving calls from this number daily for the whole week. Today, I finally decided to pick up, only to discover it was a survey about "consumer lifestyles." They bombarded me with a slew of quick-fire questions, like the age of my boiler (seriously!), whether I contribute to charities, and who provides my internet service. It felt clear they weren't genuinely interested in those answers; they just wanted to eventually steer the conversation towards PPI. I opted to supply some nonsense responses or outright refused to disclose any info. I insisted they remove me from their database and not share my details with anyone else. Since I'm on the TPS register, I'll definitely be lodging a complaint against them.

got a ring from this number, there was a long silence and then they asked for a person who isn't at my place, after that they kept talking but i couldn’t make out what they were saying since they sounded foreign so i just hung up.

I’m signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, yet I keep getting calls from this number and plenty of others too. Honestly, I hardly ever pick up my landline these days. It's becoming quite common to find voicemail messages about PPI and the like. It’s infuriating and distracts from the important calls that I actually want to receive! This whole situation is just bonkers and exceedingly bothersome!
