I've got life insurance with British Seniors Life Insurers, so when I get calls from this number, I know it's legit. It's the same number they always ring me from, so no worries about it being a scam or anything dodgy.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a British charity targeting older folks. Felt like one of those scams aimed at the elderly, so I just hung up. Definitely made me wary.

They rang me and it all felt a bit off, so I just ended the call.

Got a call out of the blue from some place called British Seniors, claiming to be an insurance company. Definitely didn't ring a bell, felt like a cold call to me. Pretty sure it was just one of those salesy calls trying to push insurance.

I ignored the call since the number looked unfamiliar to me. There wasn’t any voicemail left afterwards. After looking up the number here, I realised it was a scam. I’ve since blocked it.

This number has been ringing me like 4 or 5 times daily for a good week. I always ignored it since I didn’t recognise the caller. Just looked it up and found out it’s a scam. Really glad I used a reverse number lookup, otherwise I’d be clueless. So yeah, be careful and don’t pick up if the number’s unfamiliar!

Definetly a dodgy number, probably a scam.

Total scam, don’t fall for it.

This isn’t the first occasion they’ve called me, and there’s never been a voicemail either. Just blocked them outright.

Got a call from 08000931292, and the person actually knew my first name. They were going on about some free insurance quote. Honestly, I'd say don't bother engaging with them. I played along, acting like I was chuffed about the 'free insurance', even though I knew exactly what they were really pitching.

Like a few others have said, I got a call from a bloke about life insurance. He claimed I’d expressed some interest before. He was quite polite, but as you'd expect from a sales guy, he was pretty insistent. I told him I wasn’t looking for any extra life insurance and made it clear I was ending the conversation. Honestly, I reckon someone more vulnerable could be talked into spending money they don’t need to.

got a call from a woman claiming to be with British Senior Life Insurance. she seemed to know all my info, which was a bit creepy since i only mentioned i was checking out life insurance once. she sounded totally legit though, had me almost convinced.

What an absolute bother! I've stopped picking up their calls since they just don't bother to leave a message. Clearly, it's not urgent or crucial. I've gone ahead and blocked the number!

Got a call from a woman pushing 'British seniors' life insurance, said we supposedly requested info about their deals. She called my husband by a first name he’s never gone by. Honestly, just don’t pick up if this number rings you.

This number rang me twice within a couple of hours but didn't leave a voicemail either time. I've gone ahead and blocked it as it's obviously not worth bothering with.

Got a call from some bloke asking for me by name, like he had all my info right there. Didn’t buy it and just told him to shove off.

It sounded like some sort of lottery scam. I cut the call short before they got a chance to say anything else.

had a couple of calls from this number, missed the first one but picked up the second. it was someone trying to talk about “life insurance” but i told them straight away i never asked for anything like that. the person on the other end sounded pretty pushy and rude, which made me suspicious about what they were really after. just a heads up to stay careful with this number, and maybe warn any older family or friends who might be more trusting.
