This morning, we received a call from a travel company claiming that we'd won a three-day cruise to America, complete with an impressive 85% discount. They mentioned the full cost would be £598 for three people, and requested our credit card details. Honestly, this could very well be legitimate.

A call came through for our dear mother, who's 82, and these chaps managed to con her out of £400 by sweet-talking her into giving up her credit card details for a holiday that she’s unfortunately too old for-age limit being 65! Now, it’s a battle to get that money back!

I received a call this afternoon from that same number, claiming I’d won a holiday in Florida. They mentioned they were associated with Mastercard, which was quite surprising. However, they also said they had taken nearly 600 euros from my account without my consent, which is definitely not alright. I’m curious if anyone else has had a similar run-in with these folks?

I would strongly advise against providing your bank details to this company as a point of reference. They seem quite dodgy to me. They withdrew £600 from my mother-in-law's bank account without adequately informing her about what was going on. Quite concerning, to say the least!

We received notification from this firm saying we’d won a holiday, but they insisted we provide our credit card details. Now they've somehow managed to withdraw £698 from our account. Do you reckon there's any chance we'll be able to reclaim our funds? Is this a scam, as they claim we need to submit a written explanation?

This afternoon, I received a call from a travel agency claiming that we had bagged a three-month cruise to America, and they were offering it at an astonishing 85% off. The total cost came to £598 for three people! They asked for all our credit card information, though. Is this outfit genuine, or is it too good to be true?

The firm informed us that we'd won a holiday, but they requested our credit card details. They've already siphoned off £698 from our account. Are we likely to recover our funds? Could this be a con? They insist we provide a written explanation for our concerns.
