As soon as you call them out for being dodgy, they start threatening you and bombarding you with calls from random numbers. It's just ridiculous. If anything asks for money up front, just steer clear of it. Make sure you report their details to the police and Bank of Scotland straight away.

Tried getting a £5000 loan from a place called Care for Finance. They asked me to pay £120 upfront and promised the cash would land in my bank within a couple of hours. Then they rang back, saying I had to fork out another £230 before the loan would be transferred. When I questioned them about this, they just ended the call. The number they called from was 0800 0903201. I've already flagged them to the fraud team. Stay well clear of these lot!

At last, some cash showed up in my bank account! Loads of places turned down my loan because I couldn’t find a guarantor. Then I got a call from this number - some firm named CARE FOR FINANCE. They offered me a loan with PPI and I just paid the insurance charge. Less than an hour later, the money was transferred straight to me. All my worries are gone now. Big thanks to Care for Finance!

Got a call from these lot offering me a 7,000 loan but said I needed to cough up 150 quid for insurance first. I told them it wasn’t proper - I should at least get some application through the post or email, or they could just deduct the 150 from the loan amount and send me the rest. They insisted the insurance had to be paid upfront and that’s when I knew they were total muppets. Luckily, I googled the number and found this site, so glad I checked before anything else. Fingers crossed they ring again, I’d love to give them a piece of my mind.

Watch out, this Loans to Pocket (Buy your Loans) outfit is a total rip-off. I ended up handing over £500 after they told me I needed to buy £100 worth of iTunes vouchers first, promising the loan would come either that same day or after the weekend. Then they hit me up again asking for £210 more in vouchers, and then another £190. Of course, it was all a con and I got nothing back. Honestly, if you get a call from these guys, just block the number and don't fall for their tricks like I did.

Avoid this lot at all costs! They claim they give loans with no guarantor needed, but then demand you pay £100 in iTunes cards first. They promise to send the loan and return your £100, but once you’ve sent the cards, they ask for another £200 because supposedly your credit score is bad. To me, it smells like a total con. They said they’d email me the paperwork but never did, and now they won’t let me cancel the loan request, so I’m stuck and can't get my £100 back. Really dodgy stuff!

Big thanks to Care For Finance! Loads of places turned me down for a loan 'cause I couldn't provide a guarantor. Luckily, they had this PPI choice. I paid the insurance fee and bam, within 45 minutes the cash was in my account. Sorted all my troubles now. Really grateful to Care For Finance!

Beware, this firm is a total RIP-OFF based in India. They ask for at least £75 upfront for some PPI insurance, supposedly if you fail to make payments. But they never actually lend any money - it’s just a big con. If you call them out on it, they get really rude. Plus, they’re not even registered with the FCA. Don’t get caught out by these fraudsters!!! Seriously, who offers £50,000 with a 25 year loan at an APR between 6.43% and 9.87%? If it sounds like a dream deal, it’s definitely a SCAM!!! Watch out and don’t be fooled!

I’d reached out to this other place about a loan. They got back to me claiming they were a direct lender or something like that. Everything seemed alright at first, but then they wanted me to send over £100 as proof I could handle the repayments. That just felt dodgy, so I told them to scrap the whole thing. I got a call from this firm (Care Finance) about a loan we’d been considering. The person on the phone kept ringing me back over a few days. After chatting with my wife, we chose not to go ahead. When I told the guy this, he started shouting at me in what sounded like some Indian dialect. When I asked him to repeat himself, he ended up swearing at me with something like “Mother f***er”. Completely unprofessional.

I got a ring from this German number and when I asked about the loan, they told me I needed to pay £110 for some kind of PPI since I didn’t have a guarantor. I was pretty nervous about it but decided to take a chance and paid them using an iTunes card I bought at Tesco. Surprisingly, I actually got the loan afterwards. They really made my day.
